St Austell offers good facilities for guests and is a good base from which to explore a range of Cornwall’s attractions and locations. The historic port of Charlestown, for instance, is very close by offering a chance to see a working port that has changed little in centuries and is home to a small fleet of tall ships.
St Austell is close to a particularly fine section of Cornwall’s south coast too, with the small port of Mevagissey and the Roseland Peninsula all close by. Going inland, you can travel to parts of Bodmin Moor quite easily including the famous Jamaica Inn as well as Cornwall’s county town of Truro with its Cathedral and the Hall for Cornwall. The historic town of Launceston with its Castle can also be reached by car from Rosemoor bed and breakfast, as can Lanhydrock and several other country houses and gardens.
Whatever the purpose of your visit, or its length, we look forward to making you welcome and helping you to have a memorable and relaxing time.
